Bal Shiksha Kendra in Kanawani has more than 150 students who get virtually free education. The program was organised jointly by the school management and Rotary Club of Delhi Legacy. Chief Guests were Rotarian Dheeraj Bhargava and Rotarian Manisha Bhargava who do a lot of good work through their NGO RHAM. The program included paying tribute to Daya Wati ji, mother of Rt. Rajesh Goel and Raj Bala ji, mother of Rt. Ajai Chaudhary. Thereafter children talked about their mothers, recited poems eulogising the most important person in their lives. About 60 mothers took part in the function. They were provided with blank bags and were asked to decorate the same using paints, beads, embroidery etc as per their choice. It was great fun and the ladies of Kanawani did marvellous display of talent. Five best bags were given prizes. All the bags were given to ladies.
